At the beginning of June, an opinion poll regarding the name of a new street in Browary Warszawskie was launched at the www.twojaulica.pl website. Residents of the capital city started their rivalry in which they could vote for one of three names: Haberbusch and Schiele street, Sfinksów Warszawskich street and Wolskiej Krachli street. We have received 1067 votes in total. The majority of votes i.e. 440 were given for Haberbusch and Schiele street.
Undoubtedly Haberbusch and Schiele, the founders of Browary Warszawskie, deserved that their history was connected with the new street in Warsaw. Beverages produced in Browary Warszawskie were popular not only in our country and the company was considered one of the most innovative and it was a model for many young entrepreneurs. We are glad that residents of the capital so willingly took part in the opinion poll. This proves that the possibility of influencing urban space is very important for Varsovians’
